So you want to know how MindMyManor works? Imagine you turn the water on in the shower and you can’t get any hot water. Chances are your hot water heater may be on the fritz. So, what do you do?

Log on to MindMyManor and click on Find a Provider
After you enter your Zip Code,
1. You can search either by the name of a provider, if you have a previously used and liked another hot water heater service. OR
2. You can search by keyword or category. In this scenario, you’d type in "Hot Water Heaters."
3. You can also include additional search criteria to refine your search. These are the Providers who have been screened and approved by us.
For example, you can limit your search to only those providers that:
- Include a detailed description of the services they provide
- Provide online estimates so you can avoid back and forth phone calls
- Provide photos and/or videos of their previous work
- Have customer reviews posted
- Have discounts, promotions or coupons that can be printed and used
- Will allow you to schedule your service on this site without the hassle of back and forth phone calls
- Will accept credit cards
- Will accept online payment
- Will participate in online bidding against other providers for your project through this website, thereby allowing you to comparison shop without the hassle of back and forth phone calls, haggling, and face to face appointments.
Second
After you have entered your search criteria, a list of providers in your area will be displayed in order of Customer Star-Ratings. This list will also include:
- The company’s address, phone number, cell number for calls or texting, link to email and web address
- A brief description of the service
- Here, you will have a second opportunity to include additional search criteria to refine your search as detailed in Step 1 above.
Our Customer Star-Ratings are in addition to the prescreening process that all of our providers must go through and are based on reviews submitted by customers who have previously used the Provider. Customers are asked to rate Providers based on:
- A Provider’s job performance
- Value of the service
- Timeliness
- Whether the Cost was as Quoted
- Responsiveness
- Professionalism
Customers can also post a review of a Provider by writing narrative comments about the service.

Click on a provider’s listing to see their complete profile.
This will display more detail about the company, including:
- Detailed reviews including customers’ reports of their prior experience with the provider.
- Coupons, Promotions and Discounts
- Photo & video galleries
- Detailed description of the services provided
- Hours of operation, credit cards accepted, affiliations
On this page, you will find the features that set MindMyManor above the competition. You will also be able to:
- Request on online estimate from this provider
- Schedule service from this provider
- Request an online bid for a particular service or job from multiple providers and get them to compete for your business.
Remember, you can do all of this online to save you from the inefficiency of back and forth phone calls with the providers you want to get estimates from and ultimately hire. Of course, if you’re more comfortable meeting with the provider first, you can use our site to search for providers who have been favorably reviewed by other homeowners like you and then start calling as many as you would like to meet. This site is for you, the homeowner, to save time, gain peace of mind, and hire the most qualified provider for your home maintenance need.
